Aaron Daniel Gorton

Aaron Daniel Gorton, 52, of New Alexandria, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at home.  He was born February 22, 1973, in Latrobe, to Frank R. Gorton and Lynn Merenda.  Aaron had worked for JG Construction and in the salvage dealing industry.  He enjoyed music, animals and was always known as a kind and compassionate person. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Elva (Tatone) Merenda; and his paternal grandparents, Frank and Jane (Gallo) Gorton.  In addition to his parents, Aaron is survived by abrother, Jarod C. Gorton;  and a nephew, Dante Gorton.  A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held at Ianni’s Pizzeria, 5733 PA-982, New Derry, PA 15671, on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 11:00 AM.  P.
